do you have a passion for leveraging automation and technology to strengthen cybersecurity? As a senior consultant in the cyber vulnerability management team, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across complex environments. You’ll work collaboratively to design and implement automated solutions that enhance security posture, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement—all within a dynamic and supportive team setting.
responsibilities
* design, develop, and implement automated vulnerability scanning solutions for both application and network environments, on-premise and cloud.
* automate patch deployment processes to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities across diverse systems.
* develop and maintain scripts to enable seamless integrations with third-party platforms such as servicenow and splunk.
* implement api integrations between vulnerability management tools (e.g., qualys, tanium) and other enterprise systems to enhance reporting and workflow automation.
* lead the deployment and automation of qualys and tanium agents, as well as qflow and vdmr workflows, to support comprehensive vulnerability management operations.

qualifications
required
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, or related roles
* proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., python, powershell, bash) for automation and integration tasks
* hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as qualys and tanium
* strong understanding of patch management processes and automation
preferred
* experience integrating security tools with platforms like servicenow, splunk, or similar.
* familiarity with cloud environments (aws, azure, gcp) and hybrid architectures
* experience with qflow and vdmr workflow deployments.
* relevant certifications (e.g., cissp, ceh, qualys certified specialist)
* excellent communication and documentation skills
