Food preparation specialist
we are seeking a highly skilled food preparation specialist to join our team.
this role involves preparing ingredients for cooking, portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
* prepare cold foods
* operate various kitchen appliances including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
* test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
you will also monitor food quality while preparing food, set-up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles, and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Additionally, you will check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
