- to support the maritime logistics organization on its market intelligence activities
*main responsibilities*:
- to participate in the annual shipping budget and maintain the progress records up to date
- ensure voyage instructions and documentation are correct and in a timely manner
- negotiate demurrage / despatch charges between shipping companies, traders and terminal managers
- process freight and demurrage payments
- keep track of voyage accounting
- to procure market intelligence information from shipping companies, brokers, agents etc.
- participates in special projects required by the shipping department
