Position objective
lead a team of cloud engineers in developing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-based solutions for telemetry data processing and visualization. This role plays a key part in optimizing vehicle performance, improving safety, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
key responsibilities
* lead and mentor the cloud development team.
* design and manage backend systems for telemetry data ingestion, processing, and analysis.
* create and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines using python, pandas, and telemetry protocols (opc ua, mqtt).
* administer relational and non-relational databases, including postgresql, nosql, and time-series dbs.
* oversee frontend development for data visualization using react and modern javascript frameworks.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a technical liaison for stakeholders.
* ensure strong system security, audit processes, and compliance.
* use containerization and ci/cd tools such as docker and orchestration platforms.
* maintain technical documentation and enforce best practices.
academic requirements
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related field.
* professional certifications are a plus.
experience
* minimum 5 years in software/cloud development.
* proven leadership of technical teams.
* industry experience in vehicle telemetry, iot, or mining tech is a plus.
