We are seeking an Operations Quality Assurance Specialist who will actively monitor deliveries in progress, support drivers in real time, and ensure that every job is executed according to our operational standards. This role acts as an operational control point, identifying issues early, supporting the field team, and protecting the client experience from pickup through delivery.
Schedule Requirements
* Night shift position – overnight hours
* Weekend availability required
* Shift start: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST
* Shift end: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM EST
* Ideal for candidates who are reliable and comfortable working independently overnight
Core Mission of the Role
· Drivers are executing routes properly
· Pickups and deliveries are happening on schedule
· Potential service delays are identified early
· Corrective action is taken before the client feels the impact
· Operational standards are being followed
This role protects service reliability, client trust, and the RDS brand.
What This Role Monitors
· Driver movement and route progress
· Pickups that may be running behind schedule
· Deliveries approaching service deadlines
· Drivers who may need operational support
· Jobs that may require route adjustments or dispatch coordination
The goal is to identify potential issues early and resolve them before service is impacted.
Daily Workflow Example
· Review active routes and deliveries at the start of the shift
· Monitor drivers and route progress throughout the shift
· Identify potential delays or service risks
· Communicate with drivers and dispatch when adjustments are needed
· Provide updates internally or to clients when appropriate
· Document service exceptions or operational issues
Communication & Coordination
This role maintains communication with both internal teams and clients to ensure deliveries are executed smoothly and service standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
1. Live Delivery Monitoring
Monitor active deliveries to ensure routes and jobs are progressing as planned.
2. Proactive Problem Solving
Communicate with drivers, assess situations quickly, recommend operational adjustments, and alert dispatch when intervention is needed.
3. Driver Support
Maintain communication with drivers to confirm pickups, ensure deliveries are completed properly, and resolve issues quickly.
4. Exception Awareness
Identify and document operational exceptions such as delays, route deviations, pickup complications, and delivery issues.
5. Operational Insights
Identify patterns and opportunities to improve service reliability, including route inefficiencies and operational bottlenecks.

Ideal Experience
· Experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or operations support
· Experience monitoring routes or deliveries in real time
· Courier or last-mile delivery experience preferred
· Experience in roles requiring real-time monitoring, quick problem-solving, and coordination across multiple people or teams
