*accountabilities*
- plans and facilitates workshops with a variety of techniques to identify and validate requirements with it and business stakeholders in support of complex projects/programs and opportunities.
- delivers high-quality artifacts such as business process models, use cases, user stories, context diagrams, business rules, data dictionaries, requirement packages, user interface models/mock-ups, opportunity summary presentations, executive summaries, requirements management plans, technical specifications, ba work plans, and others as needed.
- manages and communicates requirements throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements prioritization and conflict resolution.
- facilitates enterprise analysis opportunity activities to identify business needs or problems, define the nature of a solution that meets that need, and justify the investment necessary to deliver a complete solution, including business architecture definition, identification of the work breakdown structure (wbs) and capital/operational cost estimations for the proposed solutions.
- validates solutions to ensure it meets the business requirements and helps determine the most appropriate actions to address problems identified through project testing or other assessment efforts.
evaluates functioning solution performance to understand the value it delivers and identify opportunities for improvement, including how a solution is actually used after it is deployed, and assessing the effect it has had, both positive and negative.
- develops and delivers business analysis training in support of processes and methodology.

*required*
- bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study
- minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
*preferred*
- railroad industry experience.
- bi-lingual spanish/english.
- sharepoint experience.
- experience effectively identifying requirements for infrastructure projects in support of security, data solutions, and telecommunications.
- iiba cbap or equivalent business analysis certification preferred
- experience with blueprint or other requirements management tools
*essential functions*
- this position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of monday through friday.
there may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
- this position may require mínimal travel up to 10% of the time.
