about the role:
novartis is hiring for a highly organized and results-driven learning project manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of learning initiatives within our u.s. Marketing teams and other cross-functional groups as needed. This role is critical in building commercial capabilities, ensuring compliance, and supporting performance through effective training programs in a fast-paced, regulated pharmaceutical environment.
about the role
major accountabilities :
* lead end-to-end project management of learning programs, from needs analysis through to implementation and evaluation.
* collaborate closely with u.s. Marketing stakeholders, subject matter experts (smes), and external vendors to design and deliver impactful learning solutions.
* manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business objectives.
* ensure learning content meets applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* monitor and report on project progress, learning effectiveness, and roi using data and key performance indicators.
* leverage learning technologies (e.g., lms, e-learning tools) to create engaging, scalable, and blended learning experiences.
* support communication and change management strategies related to training initiatives. Continuously improve learning solutions based on stakeholder feedback, learner insights, and evolving business needs.
minimum requirements:
* degree in life sciences, business, human resources, instructional design, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in learning & development, with project management experience.
* experience working within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of u.s. Marketing and commercial operations in a regulated environment.
* familiarity with compliance training requirements, particularly for sales and promotional activities.
* proficient in learning management systems (lms) and digital learning design tools.
* project management certification (e.g., pmp, prince2, agile) is a plus. Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
* proficient in the english language
* familiarity with and adaptability to new-generation technologies and trends (gen ai and agentic ai) is an added advantage
