Administrative support specialist
we are seeking an experienced administrative support specialist to join our human resources department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
* the selected candidate will assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
* maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with hr policies and procedures.
* support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
* collaborate with the hr team in talent management initiatives, such as performance management and employee development programs.
* ensure affirmative action planning and reporting adhere to federal regulations.
* handle employee inquiries regarding hr policies, procedures, and programs.
* manage the hris system and verify data accuracy.
* assist with payroll processing using systems like paychex or adp.
* stay updated on employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
requirements:
* at least 2 years of experience in an hr assistant or similar role.
* knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations (e.g., fmla).
* strong communication and organizational skills.
* excellent attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
