Operations support specialist – be the backbone of a fast-growing, purpose-driven company

detail cleaning services is on a mission to enhance lives one cleaning at a time and we're looking for an operations support specialist to help us grow that impact from behind the scenes. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted support role where communication, organization, and care intersect.

you'll be the first line of support for our team and clients, handling logistics, resolving issues, improving systems, and delivering world class service across every interaction.

about the role:

the operations support specialist plays a central role in making sure every cleaning tech and customer is taken care of with excellence. From resolving schedule changes to following up on complaints, your job is to solve problems quickly, communicate clearly, and keep things running smoothly.

you'll be part of a small but mighty admin team that powers the company from behind the scenes tracking issues, processing tickets, responding to techs and clients, and owning the systems that drive consistency and performance.

key responsibilities: day-to-day support

* respond to technician and client requests via phone, sms, and email (maid central, missive, gmail, dialpad)
* resolve issues related to reschedules, cancellations, damage reports, and complaints
* monitor service quality and tech performance escalate when necessary
* log updates and client/tech notes accurately in our systems
* complete and clear all support tickets in maid central daily
* support internal communications, tech tips, contests, and scheduling

client relations & retention

* execute customer retention steps for cancellations
* follow up with unhappy clients using empathy and solutions
* respond to voicemails and messages within set timelines (1–2 hours)
* maintain positive, professional communication that aligns with our brand tone

admin tasks & process execution

* assist with customer refunds, unpaid invoices, and job note updates
* help onboard new clients and maintain accurate job records
* follow protocol for emergencies, damages, and route changes
* provide feedback and ideas to improve processes, tech communication, and service recovery

weekly/monthly

* bring assigned kpis to meetings
* collaborate on internal team projects
* track trends in client issues and make process suggestion

must-haves:

* 2+ years in customer support, admin, or remote operations
* outstanding written and verbal communication
* high responsiveness and accountability
* comfortable with software like google workspace, maid central (or similar platforms), and basic crm tools

nice-to-haves:

* experience in home services, cleaning, or field operations
* canva or simple design tool familiarity
* sales or retention experience
