The Role
A U.S.-based healthcare staffing company is seeking an experienced recruiter to help place travel nurses and allied healthcare professionals in short-term contracts across the country.
This role is 100% REMOTE but requires experience in the healthcare travel staffing industry (minimum 3 years).
What You’ll Do
- Source, qualify, and build relationships with experienced nurses and allied professionals
- Understand their preferences (location, shift, availability, pay goals)
- Match them with high-demand contract roles across U.S. hospitals
- Guide candidates through credentialing, onboarding, and contract start
- Follow up consistently to support redeployment or contract extensions
Examples of what a day could look like:
- Following up with a med-surg RN who’s debating two offers
- Re-engaging a respiratory therapist from your past database
- Reviewing open jobs and submitting a vetted profile to meet a tight client deadline
- Helping a traveler prepare documents so they don’t miss their start date
Who You Are
You’ve worked in the healthcare travel space. You know how fast things move and how much follow-up matters.
You are:
- Experienced – Minimum 3 years in healthcare travel recruiting
- Gritty – You push through when it gets hard and don’t make excuses
- Ambitious – You want growth, income, and responsibility
- Capable – You can manage a busy desk and still follow up on time
- Trustworthy – You do what you say and communicate clearly
- Emotionally intelligent – You build rapport fast and handle people with care
- Urgent – You don’t let good candidates go cold
- Available – You’re flexible with time, especially when travelers need quick responses
- Strong follow-up game - someone who’ll chase a submission, not wait for it
- Past success working remote with U.S. companies preferred

- An analytical, outcome-driven mindset
- Comfort with both cold outreach and warm follow-ups
- A coachable attitude while staying proactive, you don’t need constant hand-holding
