key responsibilities:
1. strategic planning & execution: develop and execute a comprehensive plan aligned with our organization's communications strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute donor communications plans and implement digital media strategies for executive-level communications.
2. content development & management: oversee the creation of high-quality content for websites, social media, and other digital platforms. Write, edit, and manage engaging content that showcases our brand and values.
3. digital campaigns & media relations: design, launch, and manage social and digital campaigns to meet strategic objectives. Coordinate with regional teams to develop region-specific campaigns that align with our global strategy.
4. performance monitoring & optimization: analyze key performance indicators (kpis) to measure digital platform effectiveness. Regularly update website content and optimize for search engines to enhance our online presence.
5. audience engagement & brand management: ensure consistent brand expression across all digital platforms. Engage with our audience through timely and respectful interactions that reinforce our credibility and openness.
6. social listening & crisis management: monitor global and regional conversations relevant to our work using social listening tools. Leverage insights to refine messaging and optimize campaign timing. Identify emerging issues or reputational risks and collaborate with leadership to activate crisis communication protocols when needed.
7. team & project coordination: manage workflows and plans within the communications department to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliverables. Coordinate specific projects related to digital communications and promote our organization's values and behaviors within the team.
