we are looking for a talented *supplier quality improvement engineer *to join our corporate team.
in this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- leading supplier evaluation, selection and strategic sourcing and development processes.
- performing corrective actions, such as containments fault tree and root cause analysis for our most challenging suppliers.
- collaborating and leading suppliers to understand and meet all product requirements including compliance with the cummins supplier handbook.
- monitoring suppliers kpi's and drive appropriate improvements to meet established targets.
to be successful in this role you will need the following:
- bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related.
- previous experience in supplier quality engineering roles.
- advanced core tools knowledge.
(apqp, ppap, msa, spc, pfmea)
- advanced english level.
- knowledge of production processes such as: machining, plastic injection molding, welding, mechanical assembly.
(a plus)
- experience in air and fluid management products (tubes, hoses, valves) (a plus)
