principales responsabilidades
* work with the director and the media planning teams to develop strategies for all digital media buys, as assigned
* lead strategic and tactical planning activities, with oversight responsibilities; act as a primary contact for clients, as appropriate, and internal/external partners
* accountable for building, developing, implementing, and maintaining media plans that adhere to and deliver campaign objectives and strategies
* responsible for managing campaign setup that includes ad serving, tracking implementation, and trafficking
* proactively investigate media opportunities and craft well-supported articulate points-of-view
* review and evaluate proposals from media partners
* deliver in-flight campaign insights that deliver thoughtful and actionable direction for the client
* manage and be accountable for budgets with team; oversee reports and client billing
* manage the use of proprietary and syndicated tools
* set realistic client expectations and make every effort to exceed them with timely quality work
* responsible for managing a team of direct reports (remote and across all rise locations) with accountability for all aspects of team oversight, including employee onboarding, employee training, employee performance (accountability and behavior), employee retention
* overall control of workflow and assigned responsibilities within the team; oversee the progress of all projects and provide assistance, where necessary, to ensure timely completion; quickly and tactfully troubleshoot employee and client issues
* forecast workloads to align resources to match client needs
* assign work across team members to leverage each person's individual skills, as well as motivate their interests and keep them challenged
* participate in client education of assigned digital channels, with responsibility for developing intellectual capital, including best practices, case studies, and official agency points-of-view
* encourage thorough evaluation of cross-channel digital marketing strategies, finding opportunity for competitive advantage
* provide ongoing feedback and conduct employee evaluations; develop skills / careers of team members within rise through feedback and weekly meetings
* keep a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing landscape of digital advertising, including new technology, ai and evolving platforms
* collaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows.

general purpose of job

the associate, investment, digital is responsible for facilitating the placement of approved media plans across a number of digital tactics, as well as confirming, monitoring and optimizing digital placements to ensure the clients' advertising program is executed flawlessly. The successful associate provides a high level of service to assigned accounts and digital leadership by ensuring that the tactical execution of media planning, placement, and reporting (including post-buy and financial reconciliation) are handled with accuracy and timeliness.

key responsibilities
* facilitate building, launching and maintaining digital campaigns for assigned accounts across digital channel(s) in support of the paid media strategy
* execute ongoing media activation and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, account pacing, keyword analysis, optimization, forecasting, etc. as well as working with various internal/external teams to drive an exceptional client experience
* utilize strong analytical skills to extract insights from campaign data and provide well developed quantitatively based recommendations to accomplish client goals and objectives
* assist in development of media strategy and recommendation and helping with elements of client presentations
* ensure flawless execution of assigned media buys by deploying best practices in digital operations and quality assurance for all campaign launch / modifications
* support the pacing, optimization and management campaigns, as applicable
* monitor campaign performance through regular delivery reporting, ensuring buys are properly executed and troubleshoot issues that arise
* facilitate the analysis and interpretation of data trends and develop improvement solutions
* collaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows
* represent rise to vendor reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles/tactics for plan consideration as needed
job requirements education
* bachelor's degree (communications, marketing, advertising, or business)
* ability to speak, read and write the english language.
experience
* 0-2 years relevant work experience in digital media planning, buying or execution preferred; agency experience a plus
* experience with microsoft office suite; foundational / practical experience with excel a plus
* working knowledge of media platform management tools preferred; experience with google marketing platform, google ads, the trade desk and facebook business manager recommended but not required
* working knowledge of the importance and role of programmatic, paid social and paid search within a media plan
* ability to convert and implement strategic plan directions into flawless tactical executions
certificates, licenses, registrations
* certificates in google ads, google marketing platform, google analytics, the trade desk edge, facebook blueprint, microsoft ads and iab digital media planning & buying are a plus but not required.
knowledge, skills & abilities
* strong analytical capabilities with aptitude for developing and determining the optimal ways to setup, deliver, troubleshoot, and qa campaigns
* superior oral and written communication skills; focus on fostering strong, collaborative relationships at a tactical level
* high comfort level participating in brainstorms and ideation sessions
* ability to work with a team to think tactically and execute accurately in order to align media execution with client needs
