execute commissioning activities under the supervision of the senior commissioning engineer across various project sizes and complexities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
main accountabilities:
1. technical contribution: participate in initial system design review in collaboration with engineering specialists using plc software. Prepare plc programs integrating subroutines, programs, and device mapping. Support commissioning, design changes, and provide markup for as-built project documentation. Schedule plc code reviews and audits. Support continuous improvement through lessons learned feedback.
2. planning and control: deliver assignments according to agreed timelines and quality standards. Follow work plans and cost estimates for commissioning, troubleshooting, and support activities. Maintain and report issues to the lead engineer.
3. processes and tools: ensure accurate application of standard processes and tools in plc programming. Comply with safety regulations and contractual requirements. Report inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
4. risk and opportunity: support risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning. Identify hazards and report to site management.
5. customer interaction: support and interact with customers as needed. Create task lists, assign resources, and report progress regularly.
you must have
* 3-5 years of industrial experience related to initial system design review using plc software, including programming, subroutines, device mapping, commissioning support, and documentation.
* background in mechatronics, robotics, control automation, electrical, electronics, or similar.
* driver's license.
* availability to travel up to 80% of the time.
