we are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented value stream leader to manage manufacturing operations across a defined value stream. In this role, you will lead team leaders and production operators in executing daily activities including production planning, quality control, health & safety, materials management, and continuous improvement.
*key responsibilities include*:
- supervising operational teams and ensuring alignment with production systems
- creating daily and weekly production schedules and allocating resources effectively
- coaching team members and linking their actions to the company’s strategy and mission
- leading improvement initiatives and refining manufacturing processes
- driving compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- managing performance, assigning work, and tracking results against goals
- acting as a central communication point across teams and functions
- championing innovation and change management within the plant
this role demands a strong combination of leadership, technical insight, strategic planning, and operational execution.
*preferred qualifications*
- proven success leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- deep familiarity with lean manufacturing and value stream mapping principles
- experience managing cross-functional collaboration and change initiatives
- strong negotiation skills and adaptive leadership style in fast-paced settings
*required qualifications*
- short-cycle tertiary education in operations, engineering, or related field
- 3 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing leadership or plant operations
- strong verbal communication and reporting skills
- expertise in production planning, compliance, health & safety, and continuous improvement
- capability to work autonomously and coach others effectively
