the distribution requirement planning (drp) supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the planning and execution of planned stos (stock transfer orders), ensuring they align with regional requirements and meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with various teams, developing deployment strategies, managing resources, and monitoring progress to ensure successful and timely deployments.
responsibilities
1. ensure the execution of planned stock transfer orders (stos) each month for the assigned region/area.
2. lead a team of drps handling import and export materials.
3. collaborate cross-functionally, lead team meetings, and manage one-on-one sessions.
4. coordinate with key contacts within s&op, including production schedulers, supply planners, and drps.
5. analyze sto data periodically, work with teams to improve processes, and track/report kpis.
6. attend necessary meetings, communicate updates to the team, and ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
7. monitor and address issues with stos/processes, collaborating with supervisors to improve workflows.
qualifications
1. bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, industrial engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2. 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
3. 4 years of finite scheduling experience (e.g., raw materials, supply planning, purchasing, logistics, execution).
4. experience with sap mrp scheduling (preferred).
5. apics certification (preferred).
6. experience with advanced planning/scheduling solutions (e.g., jda/blue yonder) (preferred).
7. strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
