Cimmyt is a core cgiar research center, a global research partnership for a food-secure future, focused on reducing poverty, enhancing food and nutrition security, and improving natural resources.this role is based at cimmyt’s headquarters in texcoco, near mexico city.responsibilitieslead the development, implementation, and monitoring of knowledge-sharing and capacity development solutions.collaborate with research programs and regional and country offices to ensure cimmyt academy programs are coordinated.design and implement technical solutions to support research programs, including developing relevant guidelines, training materials, and learning resources.develop educational solutions, improve learning curricula, manuals, and modules.design, deliver, and monitor partner training plans.manage the student training program, including contracting, onboarding, and offboarding for students, visiting scientists, adjunct scientists or fellows.ensure cimmyt academy content and delivery meet quality standards to contribute to long-term knowledge sharing and capacity development.document and generate regular reports detailing processes, outputs, and outcomes based on key metrics and performance indicators.manage partnerships with universities and develop learning programs in partnership to increase student enrollment in cimmyt academy offerings.develop and monitor indicators on activities and impact of capacity development services.establish and manage cimmyt academy’s fundraising, engagement, communication and marketing strategy, with guidance from the engagement chapter.monitor budget and mobilize resources and funding.requirementsmaster’s degree in education or related fields preferred.minimum of 10 years of experience in education, capacity development, knowledge-sharing, skills development, agricultural extension, or a related field.english required and will be tested; minimum cefr level c1.strong expertise in capacity development and knowledge-sharing theories with proven practical application.experience organizing formal and informal training programs.competencies in critical thinking, teamwork, client orientation, problem solving/decision making, negotiation, and conflict resolution.benefitscimmyt offers an attractive remuneration package and support for continuous professional development.
