You'll report to the product design engineering manager and play a key role in shaping the future of connectivity systems.partner with customers and internal teams to define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.apply engineering expertise to conduct dfmea, fea, tolerance analysis, and create detailed product models and drawings using gd&t methodology.manage engineering change requests and develop validation plans to ensure product reliability and performance.facilitate technical reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design and quality.bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.minimum 3 years of experience in automotive product design.proficiency in cad software (nx or similar), gd&t, dfmea, fea, and tolerance analysis.fluent in english, both spoken and written.in-depth knowledge of material mechanics and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, over-molding, stamping, and plating.familiarity with international quality systems (iatf, iso, ts), apqp, and ppap processes.proficiency with computational tools such as microsoft office and minitab.any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data.
