.-job description*main activities*:- responsible for managing the middleware infrastructure operations distributed across web technologies and messaging.
mainly but not limited to ibm products.- responsible of managing, monitoring and reporting of different middleware infrastructures including scheduling, planning, budgeting, inventory control and training staff related to domain.- responsible for managing day to day activities for each middleware technology in accordance with company policies and procedures.- responsible to provide direction and guidance to hybrid integration platform team members regarding their work assignments.- responsible to design, deliver and maintain business continuity capabilities for middleware systems.- responsible to daily reporting and monitoring of middleware platforms availability, response time and other metrics as required.- responsible to participate in significant incidents, ensuring that root-cause analysis is identified, and knowledge gained is applied for process improvement.- responsible to generate & follow documentation related to installed systems and their configurations.- responsible to perform knowledge transfer to other team members as required within different middleware domain projects.- be comfortable hands on but possess leadership organizational management skills- wide knowledge in different technologies interacting with the middleware products such as distributed operating systems, storage, network, load balancers, databases, mainframe.- strong knowledge about financial topics related to contracts, purchases, maintenance & support renewals, etc.- be comfortable with executive level responsibilities.- be a leader by example.requirements*requirements*:- a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, it infrastructure or similar discipline- proven experience as middleware management or similar position with an emphasis on ibm products.- experience managing multiple projects at one time with the same quality & efficiency- management of multidisciplinary teams.- communication within different teams distributed across the globeessential skills- storage managers need the following skills to be successful- inventory management skills to perform systems inventories related to middleware infrastructure in different matters such as maintenance, support, software renewal, etc.- customer service skills is needed to interact with our internal customers to help them to find middleware services offerings, giving guidance to them to achieve their goals and needs according with business projects developing positive relationships within our internal customers.- data analysis skills for maintaining records of inventory, tracking of the middleware domain assets.- problem-solving skills are needed to identify issues and develop solutions to overcome them
