Key responsibilities
* oversee the apqp process of suppliers to ensure components meet specifications and deliver parts for series production.
* project manage the development of new components from supplier award to series production.
* collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality departments for successful program launches.
* monitor quality planning, ensure supplier compliance, and analyze problems with corrective measures.
required expertise
* prior experience in manufacturing engineering is preferred.
* quality tools expertise is necessary.
* knowledge of gd&t and core tools understanding are required.
* a formal technical education in metallurgical engineering is essential.
* professional experience as a product or process specialist (manufacturing engineer) in sheet metal processing production plants, preferably in the automotive industry.
