As the maintenance group leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard gm maintenance systems in addition to the following responsibilities
- you will conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results
- recommends solutions to problems
- responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
- meets schedule and quality requirements
- complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
- implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
- maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
- responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
- establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project. Has knowledge and ability to implement gms principles

*key requeriments*:

- engineering degree
- english spoken
- experience in automotive industry
- availability to change shifts 4x3 (holiday, sundays)
- experience in maintenance areas
- proven experience as a maintenance planner in the automotive industry.
- solid knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
- knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (cmms).
- proficiency in software tools, such as spreadsheets and scheduling software.
- excellent communication and coordination skills.
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.

*duties and responsibilities*:

- develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and machinery.
- plan and schedule corrective maintenance activities, assigning priorities and resources.
- implement predictive maintenance techniques to identify and prevent equipment failures.
- manage the inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
- coordinate with other departments, such as production and operations, to minimize the impact of maintenance activities on production.
- analyze data and generate reports on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- participate in the development of the maintenance budget and control expenses.
- ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
