Overview
the engineering & operations data, analytics and metrics team leads efforts to develop engineering and operational metrics across zillow group to help engineers identify areas of improvement in the development experience as well as measure outcomes of investment. We work with teams and products across zillow group and have the opportunity to make a significant impact across all business lines. This role has an impact across 100% of zillow group's properties and technology future. We are building the golden standard of developer portals that integrate with various internal platforms and developers tools to empower development teams to manage and build great software. This role is categorized as a teleworker position, with attendance for occasional in-office events encouraged, preferably in mexico city, mexico.

role
* collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to define and guide product planning and prioritization.
* recommend and launch product features and technical improvements that align to the functional and product roadmap.
* manage a broad group of key stakeholders and senior leaders by communicating progress and findings via product briefs, status updates, and demos.
* establish success metrics and ensure performance of products ensuring easy adoption and interoperability across all lines of business.
* actively participate in engineering discussions with software development engineers, designers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
* experience partnering with engineering and science teams to build sophisticated robotic process automation (rpa), artificial intelligence (ai) and machine learning (ml) software systems to solve customer and business problems.
* develop, socialize and obtain buy-in of data governance standards; train and advocate on data best practices.
* demonstrate excellent decision-making skills and experience guiding prioritization; ability to make trade-off decisions to meet internal customer needs and internal technology constraints.
* proven track record of delivering quality work on time, leading cross-functional teams and knowledge in ux design, technology and data analysis.
* have experience working in an agile development environment, working directly with internal and external technology analysts and developers.
* leverages expertise and shares best practices to grow and develop pms within their team.

who you are
* 5+ years of end-to-end b2c product management experience, with a focus on building technology products.
* develop a vision, product strategy and roadmap for our pay for performance product offering based on a deep understanding of the needs of our enterprise partner segment.
* develop, test and scale monetization strategies for marketplace business growth including competitor analysis, pricing models and customer segmentation.
* collaborates cross-functionally across multiple teams (engineering, ux / design, analytics etc.), estimating level of effort, identifying dependencies, and resource needs.
* balances strategic priorities, business goals, user needs, technical feasibility, and time to market to define impactful product solutions.
* strong written and oral communication and team management skills, the ability to simplify complex topics, and comfort presenting at all levels of the organization.
* conversant in ecommerce including seo, ux design, and qualitative / quantitative data analysis to drive product decisions.
