Job Purpose : Responsible for providing general and independent guidance to other members of the production planning team, confirming parts availability for near-term production.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
In order to grow and build a successful career at The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Maintain reliable inventory systems to ensure stock levels remain within established targets.
Utilize LCG Weekly Reports to obtain accurate information and improve exception messages, on-time delivery, and past-due metrics.
Identify and secure materials required to meet production plans.
Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and other plants to ensure timely shipment commitments and raw material availability.
Coordinate with external carriers and the internal transportation team to ensure accurate, on-time shipments. Monitor in-transit loads and provide timely updates to the team.
Set priorities and track shipments in collaboration with the customs and local traffic teams.
Schedule and monitor pickups from local suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of local components.
Manage procurement of materials and work with the warehouse team to confirm raw material receipts and product shipments.
Provide feedback to internal and external suppliers regarding excess inventory.
Adhere to all plant safety policies and precautionary measures in the work area.
Comply with company security policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management System.
Follow Toro Company’s file management policies, including information organization, record retention schedules, training, document retention notices, records destruction, and management of important records with third-party providers when applicable.

Job Qualifications
To be considered for this position, an individual must meet the following minimum requirements:
High School Diploma +4 years of practical experience or bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience.
Fully bilingual English/Spanish.
Inventory level management.
Exception messages experience.
Excellent customer service.
Communication skills at all levels.
Microsoft Office
Preferred Requirements:
SAP + MRP systems.
Kanban, 5s.
Lean Standard Work.
