Executive Housekeeper – Luxury Resort (Europe)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations of a luxury resort in Europe. The property features 214 accommodations, including both hotel rooms and private residences, supported by a team of 94 colleagues (including laundry services). The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest experience, and operational efficiency across all rooms and residences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring impeccable standards throughout the property.
- Manage, train, and motivate a large multicultural team to consistently deliver outstanding service.
- Coordinate closely with the Rooms Division and other departments to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Implement and monitor housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and health & safety protocols.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and cost control measures within the housekeeping department.
- Ensure smooth operations for both hotel accommodations and residences, with a focus on luxury service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper in luxury properties.
- Strong background in resort operations, ideally in complex or spread-out properties.
- Demonstrated experience managing residences or serviced apartments in addition to hotel rooms.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (mandatory).
- EU passport holders strongly preferred; work permits can be arranged (processing time 5–6 months).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €55,000 gross annually
- Housing Allowance: €12,000 annually
- Bonus: 10% annual performance-based bonus
- Accommodation: One-bedroom apartment available for rent
- Tax Benefits: 24% tax rate available for individuals who have not worked in the country in the last 5 years
