*goal of this position*
- to investigate quality issues and initiate and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- to assure employees receive ipc training, j-std training, and other customer required training as needed to meet quality requirements
*t*asks and responsibilities*
- rma & ncmr technical process:
- examine rmas & ncmrs to determine root cause of problem, as needed
- work with production to correct processes/materials to prevent recurrences
- provide written 8d reports to customers about rma findings
- provide technical guidance on actions required and on rework procedures for activities more difficult than “remove & replace”, work with rework personnel and technical dept to create instructions, as needed
- aegis instruction review for compliance to quality procedures and customer requirements
- corrective action request (car) follow up
- supplier corrective action request (scar) follow up with vendors
- data analysis and problem solving and closure of system issues
- data analysis and reporting to customers
- ul/csa training, as needed
- coordinate with appropriate departments to evaluate potential production processes
- verify router flow for new product
- create plan for product transfer review when moving production from one facility to another
- prepare and perform fai, feedback & ppap
*required knowledge skills and abilities*
- thorough knowledge of all aspects regarding the production of electronic, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- fluent in the electronic assembly and workmanship requirements per ipc-a-610 and j-std-001
- understanding of the quality management system and iso 9001-2000
- advanced level of english
