reporting to the senior fp&a manager - the fp&a analyst has the responsibility of playing a key role in the reporting & forecasting processes and development of the aop & psp.
this role will provide full p&l exposure as well as visibility to us counterparts and presentations to senior leadership team.
this role will also assist the team in driving performance management and analytics to deliver against the year.

*accountabilities*
functional responsibilities
- support the aop & psp process and manage timelines for the business unit
- ensure the accuracy of key financial performance metrics & reporting
- analyze in year business drivers, trends and associated impacts
- forecast accountability
- consolidate aop and forecast for business unit
- essbase business owner
- provide support on senior leadership financial period reviews
- collaborate with controller's team on process/accruals
- maintain & develop (complex) excel forecasting models and tools
- support finance and multifunctional teams on ad-hoc projects people responsibilities

*qualifications/requirements*:
*education/requirements*
- university degree in business; accounting designation / mba an asset but not required
- english fluency required
- exceptional microsoft excel and powerpoint skills are a key requirement
- previous essbase software experience an asset
- experience in consumer products industry an asset
- strong customer relations, interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills
- strong organizational skills
- strong technical, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills
- experience in analyzing or forecasting profit and loss results
- ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
