responsibilities:
* achieve sales targets and manage costs for assigned accounts and products.
* prospect new customers, develop business opportunities through visits, presentations, samples, evaluations, quotations, negotiations, and forecasting using tools like ibp and ms dynamics.
* report market trends, competitors, and investment opportunities to the business line (bl) team to support local strategy development.
* keep management informed about market results, operations, trends, and issues via call reports and ms dynamics.
* negotiate and manage supply agreements within the price management process (cupset+).
* manage customer relationships to meet business goals while adhering to legal and confidentiality standards.
* coordinate with marketing, customer service, and supply chain to meet customer needs.
* align with the local team on tasks and responsibilities to maintain healthy business relationships and high customer satisfaction.
* understand customer needs and collaborate with technical service and marketing to resolve issues.
* manage distribution channels, allocate products, and support new projects with joint visits and sales tracking.
* update knowledge through relevant courses and training.
* promote ethics, quality, and safety standards in all sales activities.
* maintain budget and assets related to the role.
* enhance safety and environmental compliance and support continuous improvement in esh.
requirements:
* degree in chemical engineering or related fields; master’s preferred; knowledge in personal care, feed, food, agriculture advantageous.
* over 5 years of sales and technical advising experience in the chemical industry, managing budgets and participating in technical marketing projects.
* strong communication skills, empathy, self-control, patience, and good judgment.
* business proficiency in spanish and advanced english.
