the care solutions team is building the next generation of patient-centered programs that combine ai, clinical expertise, and precision health to transform care delivery. As a staff product manager, you will set the vision for how ai can support care teams and patients, while also driving the execution of high-impact programs such as lightpath's chronic condition programs. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will shape long-term product direction, align clinical and technical stakeholders, and directly lead initiatives that bring new care models from concept to launch. Your work will improve patient care coordination, enhance outcomes, and reduce the cost of care, positioning verily as a leader in delivering scalable, patient-centric healthcare solutions.
responsibilities
* define and champion the long-term vision for ai-powered care solutions, ensuring programs are clinically rigorous, patient-centric, and outcomes-driven.
* translate strategic priorities into clear roadmaps, okrs, and milestones, and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
* partner with clinicians, designers, engineers, and researchers to design and deliver innovative care journeys on verily's precision health platform.
* lead an engineering team in developing lightpath program experiences and workflows.
* launch new condition areas and enhance existing ones, with a focus on measurable patient outcomes, improved care coordination, and cost savings for patients and providers.
qualifications
minimum qualifications
* proven experience in care solutions program design and patient-centric program design, with a track record of building digital health products used by both patients and providers.
* experience integrating ai into healthcare solutions, with the ability to articulate a vision for how ai augments patients and care teams.
* technical fluency to understand precision health platforms, identify gaps, and guide the development of scalable solutions.
* demonstrated success in setting product vision, driving execution, and delivering solutions that measurably improve patient outcomes.
preferred qualifications
* deep expertise in designing patient-first care programs, with stronger emphasis on patient engagement than provider workflows.
* experience developing digital health products that combine clinical design, ai, and user experience.
* ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels: shaping long-term product strategy while owning execution details.
* strong leadership presence with a track record of influencing executives and guiding cross-functional teams.
* entrepreneurial mindset with a history of bringing novel healthcare products or programs from concept to scale.

the us base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 - $217,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all us locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
