regional business development - wholesales & oil production chemicals the role is accountable for driving new business development in wholesale with a defined target portfolio, particularly focused on heart and belly accounts or new customers with significant growth potential for our oil business segment (wholesale - oil production chemicals).
responsibilities overall new business development in defined accounts, markets, geographies, and technologies. Pipeline management supported by crm throughout the entire sales cycle (prospecting & hunting, discovering & decoding value, offering & negotiating, converting & closing). Understand customer value drivers, prepare persuasive, tailor-made pitches of clariant solutions, and introduce new products to customers. Create and follow up on leads and opportunities with defined customers. Maintain close relationships with customer technical teams. Collect and provide input to regional/global innovation and marketing teams regarding market needs, trends, potential, and the competitive environment. Operate as a multi-point customer g2m, leveraging expertise at different moments of the customer journey. Understand customer value drivers and adopt a consulting mindset when pitching solutions. Combine technical expertise with a commercial drive to convert opportunities into sales and close deals. Requirements education in oil engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields. Desirable additional studies in sales or business. Experience in new business development, combining technical knowledge with sales acumen and a drive to convert opportunities into sales. Experience in sales and technical knowledge in oil production specialized chemicals and wholesale for this segment. Value-based selling and pricing mindset with a hunter sales profile. Sales-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in crm, microsoft office, and other relevant sales tools. Proficiency in high-level english. Availability to travel between areas to develop clients and business.
