job summary
we are seeking a detail-oriented dental assistant to join our dental team. The dental assistant will assist dentists with patient care and perform various office tasks to help ensure efficient operation.
responsibilities
* prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
* sterilize and disinfect instruments.
* hand instruments to dentists during procedures.
* take and develop dental x-rays.
* assist with patient comfort and oral care.
* educate patients on oral hygiene.
* maintain accurate patient records.
* schedule patient appointments.
* manage inventory and order dental supplies.
* follow proper infection control protocols.
* perform administrative tasks as needed.
qualifications
* high school diploma or equivalent.
* completion of a dental assistant program or relevant work experience.
* x-ray certification preferred.
* knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
* strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
* attention to detail and accuracy.
* willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
* cpr certification preferred.
