as manufacturing technician will focus on implement, modify and monitory the quality, efficiency of discreet, repetitive or continuous manufacturing processes.
the manufacturing technician must assist to the engineers developing and implementing new/modified process tool or equipment, assure the correct line setup for controlled runs, identify and correct procedures, work instruction according to the most current method used in the production process.
must be able to set up test equipment or automatized process used in the manufacturing line as well conduct material test in order to validate if this can be used for manufacturing without quality issues.
the role requires a capability to read products and materials drawings' specification, should start changes to keep product documentation accurate and initiate the engineering deviation with a previously analysis for the request.
part of the daily duties is to attend mdi meeting with the business core team, make round at the production lines to identify potential risk of safety, quality issues, throughput out of the rate, and address them, must escalate all issues where the support needed is with a higher technician skills.minimum qualificationseducation/certifications:bachelor's degree in process (mechatronic) technical backgroundexperience:requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience in a manufacturing environment.1 to 2 years of experience as manufacturing operator or maintenance supportknowledge, skills, and abilities:basic skills on hardware (drill, electrical saw, buffer, soldering iron, tap and die) and measuring equipment (vernier, multimeter, oscilloscope)basic skill on software microsoft office, autocad, sap, plms (windchill preferred)able to follow procedures and works with scientific methods as guide to solving problems.good communicationteamworkplms (windchill preferred)basic level in sap ecc (module planning, materials quality)
