about the team / role
join the new verticals team for the delivery (couriers) and play a key role in driving success at one of the fastest-growing companies in latam. In this data‑driven role, you will contribute to defining and executing business projects that will shape new ventures for the didi operation from a delivery perspective.
we are looking for curious, proactive individuals with strong analytical and communication skills who can test hypotheses, present insights effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop impactful strategies.

in this role, you'll be
* working closely with the product team to design, develop, and improve app functionality.
* making tradeoffs with growth business areas between having a fast‑growing operation vs a reliable one.
* creating value for couriers and customers via a standardized process.
* looking for new opportunities for didi to expand its delivery service.
* developing dashboards and monitoring tools to enhance visibility and ensure alignment with other areas.
* designing and implementing initiatives in collaboration with teams such as grocery, entrega, product, and delivery to enhance that we reach our targets.
we’re eager to be in touch because you have
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, computer science, actuary, or any related bachelor’s degree.
* expert working knowledge of excel/gsheets & sql is a must. Programming languages (python, r) highly appreciated.
* startup mindset.
* proven hands‑on mentality, self‑motivated and self‑directed: feeling comfortable taking ownership to ensure solutions at micro and high level.
* passionate about solving complex problems, with strong problem‑solving skills that leverage data‑driven thinking to analyze issues from multiple perspectives, uncover insights, and craft solutions in ambiguous environments.
* attention to detail with swift execution – we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, but this should be our strength.
* stakeholder management: create processes to have optimal communication with all stakeholders, follow up on the project, and deliver results.
* full proficiency in english & spanish.
