this is a graphic-design-first role, with video editing as a secondary skill.
the priority is strong taste alignment and the ability to produce polished creative that fits the brand's aesthetic.you'll focus on creating visual assets for emails, static ads, and physical catalogs or mailers.
video work is lighter and occasional, and candidates should be comfortable editing or chopping short-form videos when needed.key responsibilities:design high-quality email marketing assets (campaigns, flows, promotions)create static ad creatives aligned with brand voice and performance goalswrite and design short-form ad textdesign physical catalogs, inserts, and mailers for print productionmaintain consistent visuals across all customer-facing touchpointscollaborate with marketing leadership to iterate on the creative based on feedbackedit short-form videos for ads or social content as needed (secondary responsibility)manage multiple creative requests with clear prioritization and deadlinessoftware/platforms/tools:adobe creative suite (photoshop, illustrator, indesign)figma or canvaklaviyo or similar esp (preferred)premiere pro, after effects, or capcut (bonus)google workspaceslack or similar toolsai tools for creative productivityqualifications:3–5 years of freelancing experience.excellent written and verbal english communication (c1 or c2 level) for short-form ad copy and headlines.3–5+ years of experience in graphic design for e-commerce or dtc brands.strong portfolio demonstrating polished, brand-forward design.experience designing for conversion, not just aesthetics.comfortable working across digital and print formats.strong attention to detail and creative judgment.able to take feedback and iterate efficiently.experience with founder-led or lean teams is a plus.video editing experience is a bonus, not a requirement.shift schedule:monday to friday, with some overlap with us business hours, preferred.
