*general job description*:
under general supervision performs the following activities:
- ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
- ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting, tax accounting requirements, and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis.
- administers relationships with tax authorities, payroll service bureau, auditors, and other related agencies.
- ensures that internal control of accounting systems are in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities.
- prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity.
- prepares cash receipts, disbursement journals, and accruals monthly.
- prepares monthly cash flow forecasts and ensures that sufficient funds are always available to meet the company's liabilities.
- keeps manager updated on accounting related activities by submitting required reports and keeping the manager informed on issues and changes in related laws and regulations.
- prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of the operation.
- may be required to perform other duties as assigned
*minimum requirements*:
*minimum education*:
- bachelor's degree in accounting.
- proficiency in english (650 toeic points).
- local professional certification, if required.
*minimum experience*:
- three (3) years accounting experience
- extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- computer literate
- spreadsheet experience preferred
*minimum required skills*:
- excellent analytical, mathematical and communications skills (written/oral)
