Controller of Finance & Operations
📍 Location: Mexico / LATAM (Remote)
🕘 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
🌟 About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Controller who can own both accounting and finance operations in a multi-entity, fast-growing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the details while also supporting leadership with financial strategy, process improvements, and business growth.
🔑 What You’ll Do
📊 Financial Oversight
• Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and financial reporting
• Analyze financial performance, cash flow, profitability, and key metrics
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure audit readiness
💸 Accounting Operations
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections processes
• Manage vendor payments, customer billing, and cash applications
• Monitor aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and improve cash flow
🏗 Operations & Process Improvement
• Partner with operations and leadership on billing, contracts, and financial processes
• Implement SOPs, improve workflows, and strengthen internal controls
• Support financial cleanup projects and process optimization
🤝 Leadership & Collaboration
• Supervise and support accounting/admin staff
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and management
• Act as a key financial partner for decision-making and growth initiatives
✅ What We’re Looking For
• 5–10+ years of experience in accounting/finance (Controller or similar role)
• Strong experience with full-cycle accounting and multi-entity environments
• Proven background in reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Experience overseeing AP/AR and collections
• Advanced Excel skills + QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring teams
• Advanced English proficiency (verbal & written)
