About this role
we are seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth and development across central and southern mexico. Key responsibilities include prospecting, developing, and closing business opportunities, as well as supervising installation and start-up.
key responsibilities:
* sales execution: prepare proposals, negotiate commercial and technical terms, secure purchase orders, and oversee order fulfillment.
* business development & pipeline management: identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities; maintain a 90-day, 6-month, and 12-month funnel in crm.
* on-site service: support product installation, supervise safe execution, perform wear-life inspections, and issue improvement reports.
* account strategy: build multi-level relationships, map decision makers, and grow share of wallet across mines and concentrators.
* safety leadership: champion hse standards; stop work when conditions are unsafe.
* market intelligence: monitor competitor activity, pricing, and technology trends to feed the regional business plan.
requirements:
* residence: permanent residency in the state of zacatecas or surrounding areas is required.
* experience: ≥ 2 years technical/industrial sales, ideally mining consumables. Demonstrated record of hunting and closing multi-site accounts.
* education: bachelor's in engineering, metallurgy, mining, business, or related.
* language: fluent english and spanish, spoken and written (minimum b2-c1).
* technical knowledge: wear parts for primary crushing, as well as downstream crushing and grinding stages; mineral-processing plant safety practices; ms office, crm, erp; data-driven selling.
* soft skills: self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision; strong presentation and negotiation abilities; relationship builder; prioritizes multiple accounts.
* travel: willing and able to travel up to 75%, often to remote mine sites throughout mexico.
preferred qualifications:
* prior exposure to mill and crusher liner optimization programs.
* knowledge of sap, power bi, or similar analytics tools.
* first-aid/h2s/confined-space certifications.
* experience leading external contractors or small field crews.
