*position purpose*
organizes and manages a category (or more than one) assuming the initiative and risk of the business to deliver sales, gross margin, profit and coverage plan.
*primary accountabilities*:
- commercial business development - identify market needs and develop commercial strategies to fill them, build strategic partnerships, develop market opportunities.
- pre-line reviews/line reviews - build attractive assortment to grow business by creating commercial business plan to deliver coverage, sales, gross margin and profit plan.
- category management - gross margin control, category growth, vendor management including negotiations.
- planogram - building the planogram, min review, zap revision, planogram maintenance, secondary placement follow up.
- category insight - store checks, market visit, competition research, commercial customers visit.
- store support & team development - customer satisfaction, pricing deals, develop acm capabilities and skills (if applicable).
- marketing - create marketing plans, brand development and promotions commercial customer focused.
- supply chain - fill rate, special orders, instock follow up.
*education & experience*
level of formal education: a bachelor's degree (ba, bs) or equivalent.
area of study: business degree
years of experience: five to seven years.

special certifications or technical skills: microsoft office, negotiation skills, bilingual (english /spanish)
