Your job:molex is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented buyer to support day-to-day purchasing activities and supplier coordination.in this role, you will help ensure the timely procurement of goods and services needed to meet operational requirements while driving accuracy, responsiveness, and value through disciplined purchasing execution.our team:you will be part of the molex procurement team, partnering closely with internal departments and external suppliers.together, we work to keep operations running smoothly and to create value through effective purchasing and supplier collaboration.what you will do:- execute purchasing activities to ensure materials and supplies are available to meet production needs.- partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate demand into timely purchase actions.- support supplier relationship management by helping resolve supply issues and improving responsiveness.- maintain accurate purchasing documentation and records to enable strong execution and compliance.- monitor inventory signals and support replenishment planning to reduce shortages and disruptions.- analyze root causes of accounts payable exceptions, driving resolution and preventing recurrence.- support the return material process to ensure issues are handled quickly and accurately.who you are (basic qualifications):- bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.- conversational english proficiency (written and spoken).- experience in procurement/purchasing or supply chain exposure (e.g., purchasing process, basic planning knowledge, receiving, inspection area, warehouse, stock).- proficiency with microsoft office (excel, word, outlook).- strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.what will put you ahead:- experience with procurement software or erp systems ( sap preferred ).- knowledge of npi (new product introduction) processes.- strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving capability.- ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.who we are:li-jr3
