plan, direct and monitor all activities in the warehouse. Develop and manage warehouse operations to effectively control the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of products, systems, and services to customers.
*this position reports to*:
procurement & logistics manager
*your responsibilities*:
- proposes and manages the annual warehouse budget.
- manages the warehouse staff activities to optimize resources and determines actions to cost issues as necessary.
- continuously improves warehouse operations through the use of lean practices.
- plans and optimizes warehouse utilization and inventory.
- plans and monitors the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders and keeps stock control systems up to date.
- ensures that group and local health, safety, and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources.
- ensures (with hr manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within hr policies.
*your background*:
- a bachelor´s degree in industrial engineering, administration, or related field.
- experience working in supply chain.
- knowledge of sap and excel.
- 6 years of logistic/warehouse area experience.
- advanced english level.
