Location: monterrey / mexicoreports to: director controllingdepartment: finance role purposethe plant controller is responsible for the financial controlling and performance management of the manufacturing site in mexico.the role ensures transparent, accurate, and timely financial information, supports operational decision-making, and drives cost efficiency, profitability, and compliance with corporate and local requirements.key responsibilities financial analysis, cost & performance controllinganalyze variances between actual results and forecast; provide clear explanations and corrective action proposalsmonitor key performance indicators (kpis) related to production, costs and efficiencysupport productivity, efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives together with plant managementreporting & management supportprepare monthly management reports for local ops reviewact as a business partner to plant managementprovide financial analyses and simulations for local decisions regarding capex and make-or-buy evaluationsaccounting & complianceensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and local regulations e.g. Annex24support month-end and year-end closing activities in cooperation with accounting/controlling in germanycoordinate internal audits and ensure proper documentation process improvement & systemsdrive continuous improvement of local controlling processes and reporting toolssupport implementation and optimization of systems (finance related)ensure data accuracy, transparency, and standardization according to corporate guiderequirementsbachelor's or master's degree in finance, controlling, accounting, business administration, or a related fieldover 5 years of experience in controlling or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentstrong experience with plant or operational controllingfamiliarity with standard costing, margin analysis, and industrial kpisstrong analytical and problem-solving skillssolid understanding of us gaap; knowledge of local mexican accounting and tax environment is a plusadvanced excel skills: experience with erp systems (sap preferred) and power-bibusiness partner mindset with the ability to challenge and influencerange: 120,000 to 130,000 mxn/per month
