mission:

identify, contact, and qualify marketing decision-makers at mid-to-large companies, building a healthy pipeline of opportunities for our commercial team to convert into long-term client relationships.

responsibilities

1. lead generation & qualification
2. research and identify target companies in e-commerce, retail, fintech, education, travel, and other key sectors
3. identify decision-makers (e.g., cmos, heads of marketing, growth leads) and engage them through email, linkedin, and outbound calls
4. qualify leads based on business needs, digital maturity, and potential fit with our service offering
5. pipeline development
6. build, maintain, and expand a robust sales pipeline focusing on high-value, long-term opportunities
7. monitor sales metrics and provide insights to refine strategies and improve conversion rates
8. cross-functional collaboration
9. coordinate with the marketing and content teams to align on campaigns and messaging
10. provide context and background to the sales team for a smooth lead handoff
11. market intelligence
* stay updated on marketing trends, agency competitors, and industry challenges
* share relevant insights with internal teams to refine outreach strategies
* leadership and brand representation:
o represent rocket code at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility
o mentor and support junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence in sales

requirements

12. education:
13. bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related fields. A master's degree is preferred
14. experience
15. 4-5 years in lead generation, business development, or inside sales
16. previous experience in a marketing agency or b2b service environment is preferred
17. familiarity with digital marketing concepts (seo, paid media, automation, analytics, crm)
18. existing pipeline of potential clients or demonstrated ability to rapidly build one
19. skills and competencies:
* exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* excellent research and outreach skills; ability to engage and build rapport
* highly organized and self-driven with a "hunter" mindset
* experience using crm systems (hubspot, salesforce) and prospecting tools (e.g., linkedin sales navigator)
20. languages:
* fluent in spanish and english proficiency is a plus
* work modality:
o onsite role in jardines del pedregal, cdmx, from monday to friday 8 am - 5 pm
