what you’ll do?
* we are seeking a cybersecurity project manager for m&as with mid-level experience to oversee and drive the successful execution of m&a security projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and project management methodologies. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure security initiatives align with business goals and compliance requirements. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity project management or a related role.
* education: bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* technical knowledge: understanding of security frameworks, risk management, cloud security (azure, aws), and network security principles.
* tools & platforms: proficiency in project management software such as planview, servicenow, or microsoft project.
* soft skills: strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
what you’ll bring:
* project planning & execution: manage all m&a cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope. Coordinate all third-party risk management assessment activities among key process stakeholders.
* stakeholder coordination: collaborate with it, security teams, and business leaders to align project objectives.
* risk & compliance management: coordination with data privacy representatives as needed to ensure security projects meet regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., nist, iso 27001, gdpr).
* security implementation: work with technical teams to deploy security controls, tools, and security frameworks.
* reporting & documentation: develop status reports, risk assessments, and executive summaries for leadership.
