Sidel is looking for a field service engineer that performs installation, start‐up, commissioning and test of the sidel end of line equipment supplied to customer sites. The candidate must perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training and other after sales services of sidel`s equipment installed at customer sites. Develop a good understanding of the customer needs to provide objective advice and to ensure customer satisfaction.your missiontest andevaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical,contractual and safety specifications.properlyhandle, check and transfer equipment non-conformities.prepare jobprogress chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.ensure ultimateinternal and external customer satisfaction.performactivities in line with the standard operating procedures (sops), sidelcoordination plan rules and customer rules.report aftersales opportunities detected on customer site.technicalactivities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.report to theinstallation site manager for team site activities.your profilelevel of education and languages:bachelor’sdegree or technical degree in electrical / automation engineering (+2) and/orequivalent experiencefluent level ofenglish is a must.specializationin auto-mechanic is a plus.spanish,italian and/or french is an advantage.required experience and skills:experience inthe beverage/packaging industry with expertiese on shrinkpacking machines3-6 years ofexperience in field activitiestechnicalsubject matter expertise on automation (b&r,siemens, elau & ab)able to code software from scratchhands-on experience in working and modifying hmi and plc in industrial plantshands-on mechanical skills and experience of working on eol equipment is a plusavailability totravel up to 90 % (including international locations)
