assisting the business function and/or business excellence centers, as a transport & trade specialist, you will ensure that goods are shipped while meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. In this role you will maintain and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize product and material deliveries.

*your responsibilities*:
- develop and implement strategy for customs & inventory operations méxico´s plants. Ensure the materials and inventory management through warehouse, purchasing, engineering personnel.
- ensure the track control of boms, since engineering, scheduling, purchasing, and integration of the information in zoe (inventory control system). Ensure the balance inventory between zoe (immex) vs sap inventory (receipt, adjustments, deviations, etc.).
- identify customs inventory and develop actionable plans and procedures to mitigate deviations. Evaluate internal controls and drive implementation of recommended improvement plans.
- inventory audits related to specific transactions and processes (at sap & operation plants controls).
- provide operational support to each unit of business by interfacing with customs inventory, customs brokers (sop), and internal team members.
- prepare periodic reports and metrics deviations, corrective actions, quality, savings or costs, opportunities, risks, accomplishments, and value creation.
- translate company policies and risk objectives into the monitoring plan for the units of business and support the update as necessary. Ensure coverage and completeness of the monitoring program, including all sites with importing and exporting activity, prioritizing potential risk areas (inventory).
- work with regulators where necessary to ensure their understanding of abb compliance culture, for trusted-trader programs, audits, and where required elsewhere. Lead, coach, coordinate and motivate the x-functional teams by promoting and developing inventory accuracy on the processes.
*your background*:
- bachelor's degree: customs & logistics, engineering, supply chain, or related to international trade.
- minimum 5 years of work experience in customs, purchasing, and inventory.
- demonstrated compliance/ continuous improvement mindset.
- demonstrated ability to use knowledge, experience and instinct to make accurate and timely decisions.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- advanced english level.
