Job requirements
1. education & major: bachelor's degree or above in chemical engineering, safety engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field. Candidates with production management experience in the chemical industry are preferred.
2. work experience:
○ above 5 years of work safety and operations supervision experience in the chemical industry, with at least 3 years of team management experience (must have experience leading a team of five or more people).
○ familiar with local mexican ehs regulations, the federal labor law, and chemical industry production standards. Candidates with experience in building ehs systems or managing equipment in chemical product manufacturing enterprises are preferred.

job responsibilities
1. ehs management
2. establish and implement an ehs system that ensures that all processes and operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, internal & group company's policies, programs, and procedures, covering the entire process of environmental compliance, occupational health, and work safety.
3. conduct regular monitoring, audits, risk assessments and hazard inspections to address gaps in regulatory compliance, recommend corrective actions to prevent any safety accidents and environmental violations. Ensure timely resolution of findings or non-conformities. Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate the effectiveness and safety of changes solutions.
4. develop, lead, and deliver safety training programs to ensure 100% of the team masters ehs standards, aligning with mexican safety protocols.
5. lead process safety efforts to ensure a safe operation, such as developing and maintaining documentations including process maps, special safe operating procedures (sops), hazard analysis, management of change (mocs), risk assessments, compliance reports and other safety analysis according to the high-risks in chemical production, such as raw material storage and reaction processes.
6. provide guidance with the design & construction of equipment complying with all process safety management (psm) recommendations as well of the recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (ragagep).
7. manage ehs-related deviations and emergencies. For any accident or incident, it shall lead the investigation, report, and handle promptly the implementation of the corrective and preventive actions in accordance with mexican regulations and the requirements of the group company.
8. production operations
9. supervise the <10-person team in executing safe production plans. Focus on the company's production schedules to be safe, complying with safety and quality standards, and cost efficiency, and ensure safe operations and product delivery meets order requirements.
10. supervise the compliance of production processes. Strictly adhere to company operating standards (e.g., production parameter monitoring, product quality inspection).
11. assist in identifying cross-departmental resources (e.g., warehousing, quality assurance) required to resolve production bottlenecks, recommend alternative solutions, and report findings to the head of operations for supporting and coordinating its action.
12. regularly assess documentation and reporting data (capacity, qualification rate, loss time, waste, etc.) to the head of operations and drive continuous improvement of production processes.
13. provide support in operations and resource planning aligned with forecasts and lean practices, ensuring efficient working capital management.
14. maintenance supervision
15. oversee the full lifecycle management of production equipment (e.g., reactors, mixing tanks, testing instruments). Drive the execution of maintenance plans and reports, performance qualification protocols, and technical modification schemes to ensure safe, stable operations and minimize downtime.
16. organize documentation, training, and maintenance programs to ensure safe equipment operation, team proficiency in usage standards, and the prevention of damage or safety incidents caused by improper operation.
17. team supervising & interactions
18. supervising the daily work of the team on a chemical productive site, including safe scheduling, performance evaluation, and skill training to improve the team's professional capabilities and collaboration efficiency.
19. implement all ehs and operations management requirements of the group company in the mexican factory and proactively communicate and strive to achieve the goals for the group's shared objectives.
