*_arrivia_* is seeking a strategic and experienced *human resources*manager* with a strong focus on labor relations to join our team. This is a leadership-focused role where you will be instrumental in developing and executing our labor strategy while overseeing a variety of key hr functions. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders and a key player in ensuring our workplace culture remains vibrant and compliant.
*what you'll do*:
- *lead the labor relations strategy*: develop and execute the company's labor relations strategy, including collective bargaining, contract administration, and building proactive, positive relationships with union representatives.
- *drive strategic initiatives*: partner with senior leadership to conduct internal investigations, analyze data for risk mitigation, and develop action plans to improve the overall employee experience.
- *oversee key hr functions*: guide and mentor hr business partners on best practices and manage core hr responsibilities like performance review cycles and employee engagement programs.
- *ensure compliance*: ensure all labor-related policies and practices are in full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including the national labor relations act (nlra).
*what you'll need to succeed*:
- a minimum of 5 years of progressive hr experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to a labor relations or employee relations leadership role.
- proven experience leading a team or complex projects.
- demonstrated expertise in collective bargaining agreement negotiation and administration.
- strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, particularly the national labor relations act (nlra).
- exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- ability to analyze data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
