Your role
the statutory and tax reporting sr specialist will be responsible for ensuring all business transactions are properly recorded and classified in the financial statements of the legal entities for which kssm provides services, in accordance with usgaap, ifrs and/or local gaap. The specialist will also collect and provide necessary information for tax filings and financial audits, and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

what you will do

* verify correct accounting records for all transactions of the entities under your responsibility.
* assist in preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with usgaap, ifrs and/or local gaap.
* identify and prepare adjustments between usgaap, ifrs and/or local gaap books.
* maintain a tracker file with reconciliation between both accounting systems (usgaap – ifrs/local gaap).
* review balance sheet reconciliations periodically.
* provide required information to the tax area for correct determination of monthly and annual filings.
* support internal and external audits.
* assess current practices and procedures; recommend and implement improvements.
* support the team leader and manager with direction and guidance on accounting and financial matters.
* support preparation and submission of quarterly and year end packages.
* support ad‑hoc projects and additional recurring responsibilities as deemed necessary by top management (e.g., business restructures, technical accounting research and guidance).
who you are (basic qualifications)
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
* experience in multi‑national organizations.
* excellent communication skills.
* proficient in english.
* knowledge of tax, regulatory, and labor matters.
* understanding of accounting principles and standards (us gaap, ifrs, and/or other local gaap).
* experience with sap or similar erp.
* +5 years of experience in a similar role.

* experience in a shared services center environment.
* experience in a big four company (pwc, deloitte, ey or kpmg).
