we are expanding operations in mexico and are looking for experienced professionals who have previously worked with ibm or ibm partners to help us grow our presence and client base across latin america and the united states.
role overview
as a business development representative (bdr), you will focus on generating qualified leads, identifying new business opportunities, and scheduling meetings between stepknock, ibm, and potential clients.
this is a remote, part-time position (20+ hours per week) with performance-based growth potential. Opportunity to be full time after 90 days
key responsibilities
 * identify, research, and contact potential business clients in key industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, and government.
 * communicate ibm's value proposition effectively through phone, email, and linkedin outreach.
 * qualify prospects and schedule discovery meetings with it decision-makers.
 * maintain accurate records of outreach activities and client interactions in crm systems.
 * collaborate with stepknock and ibm sales teams to align on outreach strategies and follow-up actions.
qualifications (ibm experience required)
 * previous experience working with ibm or ibm business partners (mandatory).
 * proven experience in b2b technology sales, channel sales, or it consulting.
 * fluency in english and spanish.
 * excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
 * self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
 * familiarity with linkedin sales navigator, inviting for ibm event/webinar.inbound /outbound
