the role also promotes improvements in the supply chain and manages special project activities.accountabilitiesoperate safely per kcsm safety rules.create purchase requisitions for materials, services, tools, equipment and consumables in the sap system based on local operational requirements.record the casualties, departures, receipts, and transfers of materials and services in the system.process receiving, unloading, and arranging of materials and tools in the warehouse.maintain the warehouse in optimal order and clean conditions.collaborate in the physical inventory process, reconciling and auditing materials in sap versus physical inventory.perform various analyses and reports for the department.exemplify kcs vision, values, and culture in interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers, and stakeholders.required qualificationsbachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or enrollment in an accredited program with less than one year until graduation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.preferred qualificationsdriver's license.working conditionsshift work is essential.
