Work you’ll do/responsibilities as a consultant at deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed. As a transfer agent oversight shareholder services - consultant, you will support the oversight of various transfer agents and service providers that provide operational support to mutual funds, interval funds, closed end funds, etc. You will be responsible for managing escalated service issues from the transfer agent and service providers, monitoring service quality of transfer agent and service provider and providing oversight of fund events and corporate actions. • manage escalated issues from both internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance and sales teams, and external stakeholders including shareholders, financial advisors, service providers and transfer agents • support the oversight of corporate actions/fund events with transfer agents and other service providers. • manage inquiries received via our website and to potential complaints. • drive system and process enhancements and share best practices across service providers, trusts, and regions, to mitigate risk and improve our client experience. • support compliance requirements for internal and external audits, vendor and intermediary due diligence meetings, etc. The team join our ai & engineering team in transforming technology platforms, driving innovation, and helping make a significant impact on our clients' success. Qualifications required • 3-5 years of consulting and/or industry experience. • completion of coursework (egresado) in any pertinent field or industry. • responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks. • advanced english level. • experience in transfer agent oversight, fund operations, or asset management. • understanding of fund flows, transfer agent functions, and regulatory and compliance obligations for retail and alternative funds. • experience with investment management related systems, technologies, and tools such as order management systems (oms), portfolio/investment accounting systems, performance reporting and attribution software, data analytics, etc. • excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • familiarity with process automation, change management, and risk/control frameworks. • significant knowledge of microsoft excel, particularly as it pertains to data analysis • experience with sharepoint, sql, python, or visual basic desirable • deep understanding of investment management products types (e.g., mutual funds, exchange traded funds, interval funds, closed end funds).
